Foreign Office, January 22, 1913. I AM directed by Secretary Sir E. Grey to transmit to you herewith copy of a despatch from His Majesty's Minister at Peking, transmitting copies of correspondence between himself and the Chinese Government, on the subject of the opium destruction at Anking.
Sir E. Grey proposes, subject to the concurrence of the Marquess of Crewe, to approve the terms of Sir J. Jordan's note to the Wai Chiao-pu.
